Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) represent a major problem for healthcare organisations and a challenge to improving the quality of patient care. Their surveillance, prevention and control are imperatives but also present opportunities to enhance patient safety.

TRICE project (TRaining in Infection Control in Europe) aims to discuss and exchange informations about the organization of Infection Control in EU countries, with emphasis on existing training capacity. Its final objective is to propose a future strategy for Infection Control training in Europe.
